The guideline, Hand Pain and Sensory Deficits: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, developed by the APTA Hand & Upper Extremity and the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, provides recommendations related to diagnosis, outcomes assessment, and interventions for carpal tunnel syndrome as well as information about incidence, prevalence, anatomy, pathoanatomy, risk factors, and clinical course (with and without treatment).
