Telehealth is the big "thing" now, both in society generally and in health care. Its natural growth, spurred by its use during the pandemic, has placed it center stage. Waiting in the wings are other developing technologies including virtual reality and augmented reality. And there are certain to be additional advances not even dreamed of today. The key, according to the PTs interviewed for this article, is understanding the fundamental value of each and being open to the possibilities they offer.
